Well we have made it to the end of term and had a lovely sharing our learning session with parents and carers this week. On Monday and Tuesday some parents and carers joined us for lunch at Seven Seas Fish and Chip Shop. Everyone who joined us enjoyed a chill and chat with each other and the teachers. Some of them enjoyed a chip barm and a brew too.

We finished our visits to Tesco for this term too and Mrs Devlin has been busy planning our trips for the next half term. I wonder where we will end up visiting next half term and how we will get there? Will we be walking, on the minibus or public transport?

With Miss Anderson we continued the theme of surrealism and used different crafts to make another piece of individual artwork. We all enjoyed taking photos of each other in different poses and we used these on our work. We hope you enjoy looking at what we have produced as well the photographs of us posing.

we have made some Easter Cakes in Cooking and Nutrition and hopefully they make them home in one piece and some of you get to taste them.

Today we took part in a walk to raise awareness for Autism Day. Pupils and staff were encouraged to wear colourful clothes and donate a pound.

Our Star of the Week this week is Teegan for having a settled and happy week. We also had 2 special mentions for Gemma for swimming full lengths with no support and Joseph for using his own strategies to calm himself down.
What another great end to a busy week. All 8A staff are very proud of all the young people in class and hope everyone has a fantastic Easter Holidays.
