We’ve had a fantastic week in 8P this week!
On Monday, we did our weekend news. In the afternoon, we did our Athletics PE lesson and then did our differentiated PSHE lesson. The children focused really well in PE and PSHE this week.
On Tuesday, half of the class went swimming and the other half stayed in school and learnt about Passover. In the afternoon, we started learning about the life cycle of a frog.
On Wednesday morning, we did our English lesson for this week, which involved us finishing our learning on the blue zone. We learnt about the emotion ”feeling poorly” in particular this week, through differentiated Colourful Semantics activities and differentiated postcards linked to that emotion (linked to their Phonics units). On Wednesday afternoon, we continued learning about the life cycle of a frog.
On Thursday morning, we did our Maths - Number lesson for this week. This involved us learning how to find one and two and learning our number bonds to 10 (this was our first week covering this area). In the afternoon, the children had their golden time and did celebration assembly. Congrats to our star of the week - Abi! For always helping others. Congrats to Sian for a special mention as well for completing transitions positively this week.
Looking forward to another excellent week next week!
Have a lovely long weekend all.
From, Miss Buck
