This week in 8P, we've done lots of fun learning as part of our new Summer 2 timetable!
Monday: We did PE in the morning, and everyone joined in really well! We did Weekend News/positive play and watered our plants in the polytunnel in the afternoon.
Tuesday: We did PSHE in the morning, where we learnt about either the importance of wearing underwear or the importance of exercise (differentiated groupings). In the afternoon, we did our first Science lesson of this term, where we started learning about Habitats!
Wednesday: In the morning, half of the class went swimming and the other half stayed in school to complete Colourful Semantics activities linked to what they do in school (with photos of themselves on the BookCreator activity. In the afternoon, we went on our first whole class trip to the Garden Centre. We will go as a whole class from now on every Wednesday.
Thursday: In the morning, we completed our weekly number-related Maths lesson. The children did really well with their workstations/adding numbers. In the afternoon, the pupils did My Creativity with Mrs Troughton.
Friday: In the morning, we did our first lesson on weight (Maths - measures). The first lesson involved us assessing the children in different skills using balance scales. In the afternoon, we did golden time and celebration assembly. Well done to our stars of the weeks - Ellie and Sian! For both having a fantastic week, always trying really hard!
