Last Monday, Mr Darbyshire led our assembly and we learned about the traditional Hindu festival ‘The Holi Festival’. Some of us got to have a turn using powder paint to create colour clouds.

Back in Oak class we explored colour through lots of activities. Miss Cross did an Attention Autism making bright and colourful posters to dance in the festival with - some of us then had a turn to decorate a poster taking turns. Then we got busy painting our own pictures using different colours, some of us used colourful semantics to give our friends instructions to make their posters and some of us explored different colour activities.

We learned that the Holi Festival is the celebration of spring and that it is very bright and colourful.
