9G have had another busy week this week.
We have taken part in lots of learning activities, including sight reading and sounds write, practicing our number skills and developing our turn taking skills. We have also been working on listening and speaking to our peers during lego therapy in class.
We created our own firework images using cardboard tubes, paint and black paper. We did this independently after watching Miss Hendy do this in attention Autism.
With Mr Murphy we went and did a walk a mile as part of Me and My Body. We practiced our photography skills using the photo booth app, taking a variety of different pictures of our peers and teachers whilst we were walking around the track. In class we also made some art work linked to Hanukkah.
We continued our Science work on light and dark, this time focusing on light sources and being able to sort these from items that are not light sources. As well this in Me and My body we have been continuing to look at what activities support making our engine just right after we have become fast.
In My Community, we looked at keeping ourselves safe. Some of us practiced what we need to do to cross the road out on the track. Some of us looked at dangers in school, people who help us, and who was a stranger.
We have had another great week so on Friday Afternoon we have had a doughnut treat!
Well done 9G!
