This Week, Chestnut Class have continued to look at the book 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'.
We have enjoyed listening to the story, trying some of the food that the caterpillar ate, exploring different leaves and herbs in our tuff tray, and making some super caterpillar crafts!!
On Thursday it was World Book Day. We had some fantastic outfits in Chestnut Class and we enjoyed looking at what our friends were dressed up as.
We were also lucky enough to see our friends at home, on our video call. We had lot's of fun doing a 'What's in the Box', where Miss made a big, sensory caterpillar face out of lots of different materials for stage 2. For stage 3 we all had a turn at turning our butterfly colourful by taking turns splatting cotton wool dipped in paint. It was lots of fun!!
Our Star of the Week this week is ...... Jack!!! Jack has been independently exploring our outdoor area lots this week and we are very proud of him! Well done Jack!!
Have a lovely weekend Chestnut Class, we can't wait to all be back together on Monday :-)
