This week 7A have been very busy settling back into routine and getting back into the swing of learning, through some Halloween and Bonfire Night theme activities.
On Tuesday, we applied our speaking, writing and drawing skills to share stories about our half-term and then applied our creative thinking skills to design and create a Halloween decoration.
On Wednesday, we followed visual and spoken instructions to create our own ‘ghost poppers’ - we thought carefully about the materials and tools we needed and later tested our ghost poppers in the cage outside. We reflected on the quality of the ghost poppers and spoke about what we could change if we make them again. - 7A want to add more pom-poms next time!
On Thursday, we went on our first class trip to Devonshire Road Park. All of 7A were fantastic and a credit to Astley Park School! We cannot wait to get out in the community more!!
We have also enjoyed some activities for Bonfire Night and had our own mini bonfire in class, sharing ways to keep safe and had some yummy bonfire treats!
Well done 7A - your teachers are very proud of you all.
