This week in learners own words.

On Monday morning, Olivia joined us for a couple of hours, it was really nice to see her in school. We did maths and looked at time. We were putting the right time on the clock faces. After break we did some reading and Spelling. In the afternoon we started with yoga, some of us found it funny. Then we pretended to be evacuees. We wrote questions to ask each other and had a conversation about the houses we moved to. Then we wrote the blog and some of us did PHSE.
On Tuesday morning we did some maths activities on education city. After break we learnt about Winston Churchill and we used our IPads to do some research on him. He was Prime Minister for most of World War 2. After lunch we did some yoga and we listened to war time music and really enjoyed it.
On Wednesday we did some maths we put the hands in the right position to show the right times on the clock faces. Afterwards we went swimming. We practiced some new breast stroke techniques and really tried hard. In the afternoon we played some communication games we all enjoyed it.
On Thursday we carried on with our work on time in maths, we are all getting much more confident telling the time. After break we had P.E we were learning the Lindi hop it was a tricky dance but we had fun with it. In the afternoon we started writing our biographies of Winston Churchill using all of the research that we found on Tuesday.
On Friday we started the day practicing our coding on the school laptops, we made the fish swim in different directions and popped bubbles on the coding games. After break we finished writing our Winston Churchill biographies. In the afternoon in golden time, we played party games for Joseph’s birthday and had birthday cake and treats. It was lots of fun. Then we had celebration assembly to celebrate the stars of the week.
This weeks star of the week is Gemma for her enthusiasm towards work this week. She has excelled with learning the time this week. Well done Gemma.
