Welcome to 9A. We hope you’ve all had a restful break and enjoyed some family time together. The sun has started to shine just in time for our return to school. We’ve begun our community visits this week. We have visited Haigh Hall and had a great time on the play area. Our learners have definitely missed spending time together and shared the equipment well and had lots of giggles together. Daniel showed some great friendship skills by helping some smaller children on the park to get the zip wire. We have also begun our visits up to Morrisons to buy our food tech ingredients. Some of us found the walk there and back a challenge but we all managed it. On our way there we dropped some books off at the charity shop in town. We have worked hard in Maths with Miss Bentham setting us some tasks and asked us to work as independently as we could. We’ve ended the week with an upside down Friday. We had Golden Time in the morning and cooking in the afternoon. This week we thought we’d treat them, and the learners made some chocolate chip muffins. Star of the Week this Week was Joseph who excelled himself in the cafe this week. He politely asked for more water and independently took himself off to ask a member of staff for a cloth to clean his spillage. A member of the cafe staff dropped some plates and Joseph offered to help her. What a superstar Joseph , all the staff were very proud of you. Have a great weekend everyone.
