Wow what another busy week we have had in 7A! Take a look at the photo gallery below to see the fun things we have been up to!

In My Thinking and Problem Solving we have been focusing on our functional skills and learning to tell the time, as well as continuing to work on our individual number targets.

In The World About Me with Mrs Fisher, we worked with a partner to follow an in-task schedule to create a volcano explosion. Ms Carter and Mrs Fisher modelled following the instructions at the front first and then we practiced working as a team, taking turns and following a schedule together in our pairs. We had so much fun!

In My Creativity, we entered an Easter card competition to try to win some Easter Eggs for school. We made some lovely cards to distribute to the local nursing homes to spread some Easter cheer.

In My Community, some learners have continued to learn about their emotions and how to manage these, while others have continued to develop their understanding of how to keep themselves safe online. Our online safety group have begun to learn about the ChildNet “SMART” rules.

In Me and My Body this week, we focused on personal hygiene before going out and developing our racket skills in the cage.

In My Communication, we created some videos for the primary learners to teach them how to be kind friends, and we worked on our reading and writing targets in our intervention groups.

Everybody has worked really hard this week. We are looking forward to an Easter themed week next week  in class!
