We have had another fantastic week in 9A this week. On Monday we painted our papier-mâché  planets and they are looking great. Tuesday we went on a wet walk through the woods at Haigh hall where all the pupils loved looking out for woodland creatures and exploring. On Wednesday we had our first swimming lesson of the new school year. Paula was really happy with how much effort everyone put in and gave the whole class stars. We also had a go at some more sculpting with the play-doh in the afternoon. Thursday morning we had our trip to Morrisons where we picked up our ingredients for this weeks food tech lesson and then enjoyed some lovely food in the cafe. In the afternoon we learnt about Sikh new year which fell on April the 14th this year and we talked about how we would celebrate New year. Today we have made our banana loaves and they look and taste delicious. Well done to our star of the week Daniel. Daniel used our school values at the park on Tuesday and let another child use the zip wire before he had a turn. Another well done to Ben and Joseph who were voted school councillor and deputy councillor by their class mates. Thanks for a another great week 9A we hope you all have a great weekend.
