Rowan Class have had a fantastic end of term trip to the zoo this week.

We enjoyed seeing lots of lovely animals, big and small!

We had lots of fun exploring different science experiments today!

We used pipettes to mix colours, made fizzy explosions with vinegar, washing up liquid and baking powder and then went outside to make cola rockets!

We look forward to exploring other areas of science in future.

We had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year in Rowan Class, this year is the year of the rabbit.

We made some great Chinese lanterns, practiced Dragon dancing, tasted noodles and spring rolls and made the sign for "rabbit".

For World Religion Week Rowan Class have been exploring Islam.

We have looked at different Mosques and what is inside them. We listened to call to prayer and tasted dates.

We did some brilliant balancing and throwing in PE, following instructions well and trying really hard.

We have had a lovely last week of term in Rowan Class, including lots of fun in the snow!

We made some lovely cards, candle holders and calendars for our families, enjoyed a super Breakfast with Santa and was able to show off our fabulous artwork at the Winter Wonderland Exhibition.

Rowan Class supported International Migrants' Day on Wednesday by exploring the country Poland.

We enjoyed some traditional Polish folk dancing, said hello in Polish, found Poland on a map and made some lovely Polish flags.
