Today Beech class wore red for ending racism. We did a fun attention autism session with lots of red toys and red balloon. We loved the red bubbles, we made pictures with them later. Well done Beech class.

This week we have been looking at the 3 little pigs story, we looked at the houses and Mrs Barrand dressed up as a wolf and blew down the houses. We have made pig masks and houses and been busy building with boxes and bricks. Well done Beech class.

This week Beech class have been learning about spring. We have painted blossom trees using our fingers, used forks to make tulip pictures, poured and shook some flour over flowers. We looked at spring lambs made prints with a potato masher. We explored around the school grounds on a lovely spring…

Beech class enjoyed a red nose attention autism session using red objects in the box and making a red sparkly nose. Some of us dressed up as super heroes too. A great day well done Beech class.

This week we have been learning all about the weather. We explored ice, rainbow rice,  shined torches in the dark den, cloud paintings and rain pictures. We had some captivating attention autism sessions, we got wet in the rain and went under the brolly whilst singing and listening to thunder…

We have made some lovely Mother’s Day cards and biscuits for all our super mummy’s this week. We hope you like them!

This week Beech class have looked at Jack and the beanstalk. We have explored lots of sensory trays; beans, green spaghetti, oats and dry spaghetti. We explored with paint in our wellies and created a giant bean stalk. We enjoyed exploring the characters from Jack and the beanstalk too. Well done…

Today Beech class celebrated world book day. We chose to look at The very hungry caterpillar book. We had some lovely sensory trays that we enjoyed playing in including flour, fruit tasting, gloop and playdoh. We made our own “that’s not my caterpillar “ pages  using different textures underneath…

Beech class have begun their new topic growth and change and so this week have been looking at the hungry caterpillar story. We have done lots of activities related to the story and had lots of fun exploring them. We have chopped fruit from the story, counted the caterpillar parts, painted…

Beech class celebrated making a huge rainbow during their attention autism session and having lots of colourful interesting items in our box . Each child chose a colour and added to the big rainbow each one differently. Well done Beech class.

We have explored pink and red paints making some lovely paintings. We enjoyed our strawberry and cream sensory tray with marsh mallows and sprinkles and some lovely pink foam. Well done.

Beech class explored the Chinese New Year objects today. They particularly enjoyed the red noodles and chops sticks. Well done Beech Class.
