Beech class had a beautiful Christmas lunch, thank you dinner ladies

Beech class had a lovely time decorating our class tree, we took turns to choose a decoration and hang it on the tree. We then had a lovely treat of a chocolate from our advent calendar

Beech class has been singing ‘Old McDonald had a farm’ this week, we have looked at all of the animals, felt all of the different textures we might find on a farm, like straw, mud, hay and grass and pushed the tractors along in the soil.

Beech class had a lovely time making their own poppy using lots of sensory experiences and tools. 
We also enjoyed exploring the sensory poppy tray, lots of red.

Beech class have had a very exciting week exploring Humpty Dumpty, we have enjoyed singing the song and acting out the actions using our small world tray. We had an amazing explore of real eggs watching Mrs Barrand rolling eggs down the ramp, would they smash and break like Humpty Dumpty. We then…

This week we have had a great P.E lesson supported by Chorley sports. We have also had Bike Ability helping us to learn to ride balance bikes- great fun!

Beech class has been looking at all of the colours for Diwali, we had a lovely sensory tray with lots of colourful sand and glitter. We made a glittery candle to celebrate the festival of light, and we had some Indian music and dancing on the screen to watch too.
