Another busy week in Rowan Class.

We have continued with our topic Down at the Farm, enjoying Attention Autism sessions, outdoor number games, sensory stories, sandwich making and lots of gardening in the Rowan Class garden.

Exploring flowers and plants, commenting on stories, following instructions to plant seeds and make sandwiches.

We have enjoyed sensory stories, a Royal What's in the Box, a lovely street party lunch and lots of sensory fun, games and crafts in the hall.

We had lots of fun learning and exploring Earth Day 2023.

Learning new signs for the animals, flowers and insects that we could help.

We followed instructions to make bird feeders, planted some sunflower seeds and went litter picking around school.

We have had a very busy first week back in Rowan Class. 

Our topic this term is Down at the Farm.

We have been exploring plants and flowers, planting our own cress and getting the Rowan Class Garden ready.

We have made jam sandwiches in cooking, and explored picnics.

We had lots of fun exploring different science experiments today!

We used pipettes to mix colours, made fizzy explosions with vinegar, washing up liquid and baking powder and then went outside to make cola rockets!

We look forward to exploring other areas of science in future.
