10R’s Star of the Week
Well done to this weeks star of the week in 10R. Sometimes it is hard to walk away from situations and not get involved but this is something you have achieved this week on a couple of occasions and dealt with things in a very grown up way.

It’s Jolly Hockey Sticks in 10R
This week 10R have been introduced to the game of hockey. We have learned how to hold the stick correctly and how to move the ball round. We dribbled the ball in and out of the cones and then we tried to get the ball past our partner. It was good fun and we are looking forward to learning more…
Does Mr Stink, stink?
10R love a good story and last year we read lots of books including Wonder, George’s Marvellous Medicine and Holes. We have started our new reading journey with Mr Stink by David Walliams. We are enjoying listening to the story and guessing what we think is going to happen next.

10R Love Lego
Today for speaking and listening 10R had a go at Lego therapy. Going forward we will be doing interventions to develop this.
It is trickier than it sounds. One pupil explains what is needed and another pupil finds the pieces. A builder listens to how to place the pieces.

This week we all returned to school refreshed and ready to find out what being in year 10 is like. We were welcomed into class by Mrs Tolan, Mrs Cobham and Mrs O’Reilly.
