This week it has been Sports Week at Astley Park School. We have taken part in lots of different sporting activities over the course of the week. We have taken full advantage of the beautiful weather and have spent lots of our time outside enjoying the sunshine.

Oh what a fantastic week we have had.  The sunshine  made our week great. We managed to try all different kinds of things from bike riding to orienteering. You can see by the smiles on our faces we had a ball.

What a week 7P have had with sports week! We started the week off with our usual dance session with Dave and Dave. We are really getting the hang of the routine and can't wait to show you next week!

Rowan Class have had lots of sporty fun this week!

We have enjoyed swimming, climbing, walking and bikes. Ball games in the hall and target games in the cage. 

We made some very healthy fruit salads in cooking, and continued our travel training with a walk to Astley Park.

Astley Park School attended the Lancashire Primary Swim Gala today at Accrington Academy.

Today 10R had a lovely P.E session in the hall. We all enjoyed trying out our obstacle course. Team A and Team B raced to complete the obstacles and throw the beanbag into the box.

Dodd Group had a fabulous second day at Calvert Trust after a good nights sleep.
