Well done to this weeks Star of the Week in 10R - a great week and definitely well deserved. Congratulations.

This week we’ve had a great week and on Friday we’ve learned all about Genes and we wore our own clothes and brought a donation for the Jeans for Genes charity which helps lots of families.

This week we all returned to school refreshed and ready to find out what being in year 10 is like. We were welcomed into class by Mrs Tolan, Mrs Cobham and Mrs O’Reilly.

It was really nice to see each other again after 6 long weeks at home, to catch up and just chat.

We have worked independently using book creator on our iPads to make a presentation about a country of our choice from the Euros.

This week we have been learning about Euro 2020. We have worked in pairs to research different things and we have worked on our own. We have learned about the teams and the players, the countries taking part and we have researched flags.

9R started this week by taking part in a warm up as part of sports week.

Mrs McDonnell lead us in a warm up over teams which was different because we usually do this altogether in the hall, but it was still good fun.

We have taken part in lots of fun activities this week as part of our learning.

We have looked at compass directions and Mrs Clarke sent us all an app to our iPads. We completed a worksheet in pairs following directions which was lots of fun.

On Friday we celebrated Italy day in school.

We had a non uniform day and some of 9R came dressed in red, white or green.
